Last Day, First Day, 2017
Letter-writing & artist book.
In the weeks between election night and Inauguration Day, I encouraged and collected letters to President Obama on his last day in office and President Trump on his first. These letters validate (Presidential letter-)writing in its most elastic sense and have been re-produced at scale and in black and white. Each spread features a writer's "last day" letter on the left and their "first day" letter on the right.
